Reuniting With Family
Because we loved you so much,
we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God
but our lives as well.
1Thessalonians 2:8
…. Matt came walking swiftly across the street…you could have lit up Dunkin’ Park for a week with his smile…then Eric came bouncing down the sidewalk..
Both let out cries of joy and ran at each other, wrapping arms around in a tight embrace that reminded me of the Prodigal Son… but without the prodigal just all of the Love…
Matt was with us while he was a student at UCONN and would use his Saturdays along with other students to to be and love and grow with us. They woke up every week on their day off, had breakfast together, got on the bus and joined us…and we were all amazed at them…
as I was driving to the beach to surf yesterday, I played an old Keith Green and it made me weepy for these kids I love so much…
Oh, can't you see it's such sin?
The world is sleeping in the dark
That the church just can't fight
'Cause it's asleep in the light
How can you be so dead
When you've been so well fed?
Jesus rose from the grave
And you, you can't even get out of bed
Oh, Jesus rose from the dead
Come on, get out of your bed

Service
Hey family!
…so the heavy rain held off until we finished loading…let’s just get that out of the way. As I mentioned, Matt came with us and brought a full-dose of CrU love with him!
Bobby (Robert) was waiting for us on the steps and came running when the van showed up, apologizing profusely for being away for so long….
“that’s ok, we were just worried! We are so glad you are here!”
“yeah, I was in the hospital”… soI asked him if he had an episode..”not, just depression. I’m manic biopolar so it was ok”….
That’s how it is…
We are always a safe place for folks to return to and their feet back under themselves. This is why we are more of a recovery church than I have ever seen…we welcome people back with joy, just like the Father does with us…
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?"
Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.
Love to you all,
b
Community Church updates!
I got a couple of texts last week;
“Bryan, I don’t know if you heard, but our beloved Terry had died”
“hi mr bywater! our event was last night and it went really well, we have a bunch of donations that we’d love to drop off for Street Church”
The first came from a friend’s daughter who collected needs for their National Honor Society project. This included over $200 cash.
The other was from a friend letting me know that one of my long-time members of a community church had died.
This is the depth and breadth of our little band of merry fools. College students, grad students, high school students, elderly…. to infinity and beyond.
