Having The Faith of Children
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
This is my buddy, Sean.
He is a righteous little dude and still drives his mom nuts, but his faith is so solid.
He stirred it up and ruffled feathers at school simply sharing his faith and love of Scripture.
He wasn’t being a jerk beating folks up with the Bible.
He was just sharing something and someone he loves more than anything else in the world, even more that Blue’s Clues and candy.
This generation right here wants more of God than we did.
Pray for him, pray for us.
Wake up sleeper.

Last Week’s Update…stay connected!
Hi fam, (from Kenny)
Firstly, shoutout to Olivia Bywater on getting baptized on Sunday! It was a beautiful moment with Lisa giving the prayer, Bryan conducting the baptism, and the family of God supporting in love. Not a dry eye in the house. What a special day!
Great day at Street Church on Saturday! It was a balmy 80 degrees, and we had a new church join us: Hillside in Bristol!

Service
A wonderful Saturday! Bryan and I packed the lunches and UHaul before heading downtown to meet Hillside and the many volunteers (they brought around 15 people, and it was Vox's monthly serving day as well, so we had upwards of 20 helpers). We did a circle that was a bit more lengthy than normal just to set the scene and tone for the many newcomers.
Service went well. Mike - the guy who always stands on the outside looking in - came down and told Bryan that people "revere" him and he shouldn't get prideful, which messed Bryan up a bit. (he knows this full well, and thanked him for the warning-Bryan). I gave a message on "What do you have when you have nothing?... Hope."
I was surprised at how well people were paying attention, and afterwards Jeff texted saying people were talking about it as well. It was good encouragement and I'm thankful the Holy Spirit reached some hearts. We did have a guy disrupt the service. He was climbing the fountain and then walked right by the altar, dropped his pills and threw socks on the table. He unplugged the speaker, then he proceeded to lick a pill off the ground. (Bryan and Julia went into immediate prayer around him as is our protocol. God simply sent this man away. Powerful-Bryan)
He went back on his way without any more trouble and Bryan called the mobile crisis team for him as it was determined he could be a danger to himself (and then the cops because the mobile crisis unit wasn't available). Thankfully, it didn't faze me much and I was able to keep preaching, because I knew the Bryan and Julia were looking out and had my back. That's the beauty of having multiple leaders downtown. We know that if there's any disruption, the non-preacher will take care of it. Thanks for being there, fam :)
We gave out a ton of stuff because we had a lot of volunteers.
Have a blessed week!
-Kenny
