A fairly light newsletter this week. One thing I (Kenny) am always struck by is how folks keep showing up to Street Church each week, no matter the weather, the leader, the preacher, or other commitments. The people I see in this picture are all people I’ve grown to know and love, whose hearts are so wrapped up in Jesus that it’s hard NOT to see Him in them.
They, and everyone who continues to show up, does it for only one reason whether they know it or not: Jesus. Last week Bryan was out as he prepared for his trip to Ukraine, so Geoff took the reins to lead, not knowing who would show up downtown. But he knew Jesus was going to be there, and that was more than enough. On top of that, he was greeted by an All-Star team to be there with him (every week we have one of those ).
